ERGO-FORMED HANDLEBAR
Wider than competitors, the soft PVC handlebar provides enough support and easy positioning.
POLY-V BELT DRIVETRAIN
Smoothly transfers high levels of torque and fast flywheel speed with 1:10 gear ratio. Requires less maintenance than chains.

Crafted with an opening at the heart of the saddle, this design provides an increase in rider comfort and performance.

The IC6 console features a bright, self-powered, fully integrated full color TFT screen and a front LED display. This patented feature displays your training intensity and view valuable training data such as watts, heart rate, RPMs, exercise duration and resistance level. The five touch sensor buttons ensure a fast and intuitive operation of the computer, even during workouts.

Buyer beware. I've had persistent issues with the battery on my IC6 (thus unable to use the computer), with multiple Life Time service technicians unable to fix the issue. Now that I'm out of the warranty period, Life Time's response is I need to replace the battery myself, with no offer to rectify this long-persisting issue. Computer aside, it's a great bike. But I can't recommend anyone buy it given the experience I've had to-date.

Disappointed for sure. LifeFitness sent the cycle with a practically dead battery. "No Battery Detected". My family and I have used the cycle about 10-15 times now and the battery has never charged. Do I have to ride 500 miles in one session before it charges? I hate how the computer shuts off instantly when I stop pedaling. I also hate how I have to pedal nearly 30 seconds before the computer boots up. I emailed Life Fitness through their contact form on the website last week and never heard back. Nice styling and construction though. I feel comfortable being 6'1 and 260lbs.

Love the bike, but it is painful to assemble. Everything is metric which is not a problem for me when it comes to wrenches but Allen wrenches are a different matter. Also, I didn’t have a torque wrench which was annoying but I did get to buy a new tool, bonus!
The plastic bolt holding the handle bar shaft stripped with the Allen wrench and I had to use pliers to turn it. I discovered why it stripped when I removed it. The other half was wedged in the shaft. I had to fish it out with two small Allen wrenches. Part of it is still in the top hole of the shaft. Luckily, it’s a hole I will never use.
I cussed the engineer who designed the stupid bolt and created the wire diagram drawings which make it almost impossible to see what is needed during certain steps of the assembly process.
But I do love the bike, 4 stars for assembly and instructions, feeling generous.

How to choose versus the other ICG bikes. I am still confused on that. I called ICG and they were recommending CX as the best ""value"". I said I'm not interested in value, just quality and it sounds like the new CX bike is the same. He said either CX or IC7. I didn't want to pay an extra thousand dollars for a tiny computer screen without knowing what it did so I just went with ic6. I wish ICG would better clarify the difference in the bikes! but ic6 is great!
