Urethane Studio Dumbbells
I bought a pair of 10 lbs. weights, one 15 lb. and one 20 lb. weight. I use them for shoulders and arms. The urethane seems to be pretty good quality except for a slight imperfection on the 20 lb. weight, which I will not bother to return. I am not crazy about the grip/handles although, to be fair, my wife thinks they are comfortable (even though she will not use them). I think I also would prefer the ends of the weights to be bigger, like in the Hammer Strength dumbbells, which are much more expensive. Since the ends are small, I feel the balance is off - but this is more a matter of preference. I also am not crazy about the way the numbers are askew when placed down so they do not roll. They are, however, space saving, which is mainly why I bought them. They are also warranted for three years as compared to other companies which only offer a one year warranty. Delivery of the 10 lb. set took 3 days and the other two weights arrived two business days later, which was much better than the expected two to three weeks. The packing was good and secure.
