For context, I am a former trainer. To this day I maintain a fitness studio comprised entirely of Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment.
The quality and construction of the bench is great. Unfortunately, the upholstery is subpar. Compared to my other Life Fitness Pro-2 pieces, and my Hammer Strength pieces, the upholstery is thin and poorly sewn. The pads are distorted and have areas which are compressed. This is certainly not the quality I have come to expect from Life Fitness. To add insult to injury, customer service reached out regarding my delivery experience. I detailed my concerns. I received an email “This request was recently marked as solved by our support team.” I am sad to say, this is not representative of the brand I have loved and supported for twenty years.
