Excellent catch and smooth rowing stroke.

Really solid build quality. Easy to set up. Closest I found to real life rowing and I can easily change resistance level for my wife to train.

Feels like a step up from your average Concept rower

I belong to a gym which used to have Concept rowing machines. That is what I am used to, that is what I thought was a great workout. With the new academic year, the gym got a new set of rowing machines, LifeFitness GX rowers.OMG, what an incredible difference! This is a far superior workout than what I've become accustomed to. This feels more like you are rowing on water. I love this machine!

Good Workout

I think the Planet Fitness I go to has this LifeFitness model. I like that I feel my chest and arms are worked more than using a WaterRower at OTF. It probably has to do with LifeFitness having resistance levels. The handle could be improved - it's not very comfortable and it should be longer. The display shows the metrics I want - SPM, 500m split, distance, time, and estimated calories. I'm not sure if it has FTMS or bluetooth, but if it does I would consider buying one. I would like a rowing machine that can sync to third party apps like EXR, Zwift, and Stravia.
